THE PROBLEM

In 2026, many young adults still struggle to understand how much they spend or maintain consistent control over their finances, which leads to frustration, stress, and financial anxiety. Although budgeting apps are widely available, most are abandoned within the first three to four weeks after download (Zuckerman, 2026). This suggests that the problem is not necessarily the availability of financial tools or only the structure of the design, but the psychological and emotional friction involved in maintaining financial habits over time (Le, 2025).

THE HYPOTHESIS

An AI financial assistant will allow young adults to have a clearer view of their finances because they will have automatic expense categorization and smart summaries in friendly, accessible language, available through WhatsApp and a PWA (Progressive Web App) with synchronization and an intuitive visual experience.
